Break the ice? Ice breaking? Hehe anyway Britney surely didn't need any of of those...we all know her. She's an icon. Pop icon. Well she's been through ups and downs...possibly more downs lately. But anyway she still managed to come out with the new album...'Blackout'. The last two singles, 'Gimme More' and 'Piece of Me' was ok...but don't really caught my attention. But this song? Nice song, with the fast beat and good harmonizing...but I think we're lacking of individuality here. Their voices almost sounded the same. With The Pussycat Dolls also releasing their new single, "When I Grow Up", is there going to be a tough fight in the charts between this two all girls group? I'm into the song and the beat but not so much for the video, though. Nothing much special there.
The first time I hear this song, my mind straightly went thinking about the TV Series "Damages",heh.

Jesse A. McCartney was born April 9, 1987 to Scot and Ginger McCartney. He has two younger siblings Lea Joyce McCartney and Timothy (Timmy) Glover Mark McCartney. Jesse lives in Ardsley, New York where he attends the public school systems. He graduated from Ardsley High School on June 22, 2005.
At a young age he used to be a part of singing group Sugar Beats. Then, he auditioned for a boy band and managed to be among the five who get picked out of 500 that showed up and established the group Dream Street, who was signed to Edel Entertainment. Their first album was released July 10, 2001. The band lasted May 1999 until August 2002. The album went gold, but in 2002 they split due to a lawsuit concerning the producers. Jesse then decided to go solo.
Sugar Beats producers Sherry Kondor and Bonnie Gallanter, along with Andrew Gold and Ginger McCartney then started JumpAhead Productions and signed him. Jesse then made an EP Called JMac which contained the songs "Beautiful Soul," "Don't You," and "Why Don't You Kiss Her." The EP was released July 22, 2003. He toured for a while and ffter touring he started his full album which was released September 28, 2004. His song, "Beautiful Soul", was an instant hit. The album went Platinum on Febuary 24, 2005.

I kinda like this song the first time i hear it...the music kinda keep playing in my ears (the intro-what sound is that anyway?). His vocals is quite good in this song i think...well i don't really listen to him before this...i think he's just a singer with looks with not much talent hehe.
